Christian Mission day in Bicske

About thirty pastors and workers from churches in Brazil and Ukraine came to Europe, with the aim to evaluate what kind of future cooperation could be formed between the local churches. Hungary was one stop on a mission trip, which also included several of the neighboring countries. The delegation of around thirty people visited Budapest and Tatabanya in the morning, where they looked into the current mission work.
In Tatabánya, the group visited a Church Planting mission led by Attila Varga and in Budapest, at Csoma Sándor Bilingual Baptist High School, where they looked into the work of the school assembly headed by Dávid Pollak school chaplain.
After lunch, Church President, János Papp and Mission Director, István Durkó presented the activities of the Baptist Church and followed by Bálint Kovács, the leader of Baptist Roma Missionary Committee, who outlined the situation of the Roma people in our church and talked about current activities.
Dávid Gál, József Steiner, and Renáta Vas spoke about the Hungarian Baptist Aid Agency’s work in the past and their future plans, mentioning the "B49" school assembly activities. At the end of the day the presenters conducted a question and answer session. Finally, the mission day ended with joint prayers and requests for blessings.
